Electronic Leak Detection is the process of detecting the presence of and pinpointing the location of faults and leaks in non-conductive waterproof membranes such as flat roofing materials.
Electronic Integrity Testing of Waterproofing Membranes, is a non-destructive test used to determine the integrity of waterproofing systems, locating any defects therein.
The wet test method relies on the electrically conductive properties of water and the insulating properties of the membrane to be effective. This highly accurate test simply identifies pulsed electric fields of microscopic proportions and homes in on the source with a highly sensitive meter. This method of leak detection replaces the traditional method of flood testing flat roofs.
Our leak detection service is used extensively by Roofing Contractors and main contractors, who need the peace of mind that their waterproofing system is free from defects at completion of the project.
